Beat-Keeping and Rhythmic Activities for the COVID Classroom
Stephanie Dykeman will facilitate this 90-minute session sharing a range of beat keeping and rhythm games and activities that can be adapted for use in a variety of settings.
This workshop will be presented through Zoom and is open to all. Advanced registration through "My Learning Plan" is required to receive the event link.
Participants can receive 1.5 hours of CTLE credit for this event. Attendance will be verified by BHVAOSA on the day of the event. In order to receive a certificate of completion, participants will be required to fill out the workshop evaluation at the end of the event.

Presenter's Bio:
Stephanie Dykeman is BHVAOSA’s Past President, having served from 2018 to 2020. Stephanie teaches K-5 general music and chorus in the Amsterdam City School District. Under Stephanie’s leadership, our chapter has received special recognition from AOSA as a “Chapter of Excellence.” Also during her tenure, Stephanie secured the Ensemble Instruments grant from the American Center for Elemental Music and Movement. Stephanie studied music education at Nazareth College and she completed all three levels of the AOSA Teacher Training Courses at the Eastman School of Music.
