Explore ideas to make your classroom come alive with music and movement through Orff pedagogy. Imagine, sing, dance, play and explore! This workshop will offer a variety of activities from songs to integrated arts and movement activities. Our work will focus on the Orff teaching process and give participants practical models which present materials in a sequential and logical manner through Orff pedagogy.

Presenter's Bio:
Dr. Rob Amchin is a Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Louisville and Concentration Coordinator in Music Education. He studied at New England Conservatory of Music, Hofstra University, Memphis State University, Hamline University, University of Michigan, and the Orff Institute (Salzburg). Dr. Amchin is sought after teacher of Orff pedagogy leading workshops, Orff summer courses, and master classes throughout the US and around the world including classes in China, Singapore, Finland, Russia, Austria, Canada, Israel, Hong Kong, and Poland.
